CHANGE OF VENUE
Given that we were at capacity last meet, we thought we would trial a new venue (big props to JobFutures who supported us so long!)
A room has been kindly booked by Matt Allen at:
Crown Hotel – 589 Crown Street, Surry Hills.
It is a short stroll from Central Station or get on a 301, or 303 to get to Baptist St near Cleveland St OR a 395 as it stops on Cleveland St near Crown St.
(Look up 131500 for more information!)
There is a cover charge, and it’s $5 (pay Matt at the door when you arrive)
What?
- Max Muermann: Creating and releasing a Gem
- Keith Pitty: Why is Ruby such a good language for Rails?
- Rob Sharp: Memcache

August 21st, 2007 at 02:51 AM Hi Folks - Amazon Web Services is coming to Oz in February. Any interest in having us present on Amazon Web Services? See http://www.cuberick.com/2006/11/mike-culver-amazon-web-services-and.html for another Ruby talk. We are most definitely not about books :) If interested, sign up on our wiki at http://evangelists.wetpaint.com/page/Mike+Culver+NZ+Australia+Feb+2008. Thanks, Mike
August 22nd, 2007 at 01:59 PM Hello Folks! I have recently started to learn Ruby on Rails and would like to join you for your September meeting. On you Google Calendar I can see that it will be on the 19th September 2007. Have you found a venue yet? Thanks for a short answer in advance. Salut, Mathias
